Questions
Will it change my trackpad or my other mouse?
No. MagicMore only talks to the Magic Mouse. Everything else keeps the settings you chose in macOS.
Is it safe?
It asks for one permission, Accessibility, so it can press shortcuts for you. Nothing is changed permanently: quit the app and macOS is exactly as before. It is signed and notarized by Apple.
Which Magic Mouse do I need?
Any of them: the original, Magic Mouse 2 and the USB‑C model, on macOS 14 Sonoma or later.
Do I have to learn all the gestures?
Not at all. It starts with a ready setup and a one‑minute lesson. Use three gestures or thirty — you decide.
Why isn’t it on the Mac App Store?
Reading the Magic Mouse surface and changing pointer speed for one device aren’t allowed for App Store apps. So we sell it directly — signed, notarized by Apple and updated by us.
